Chicago Spurs Holiday Party 2016
Chicago Spurs are pleased to welcome you out to our annual holiday Party! Come on out for an evening of camaraderie and entertainment.
Where?: Your very own Atlantic Bar and Grill-back bar
When?: Friday December 16th from 7 pm-11 pm. Please note this is a time change from the save the date
How Much?: $30.00 per a person
This years event includes:
• Open Bar 7 pm-11 pm
• Cocktail Hour from 7-8 pm.
• Dinner Buffet at 8 pm.
• 8:30pm Entertainment by 11 comedians hosted by Crystal Lake’s own Steve Marshall and featuring Chicago Spurs own English John
• White elephant gift exchange
• Chicago Spurs Annual Toy Drive and 1st ever book drive.
• Stay after hours for Karaoke at the Atlantic
Food and Drinks: Open bar and dinner buffet brought to you by the team at the Atlantic Bar and Grill
Entertainment- Join us as Crystal Lake’s Steve Marshall as he MC’s the event. 10 comedians will do short sets of 8 minutes. Chicago Spurs own John Howard (“English John”) will headline the event.
White elephant gift exchange- At this year’s party we’ll be doing a white elephant gift exchange. If you want to participate, bring a wrapped gift to the party. We’ll put all of the gifts in a central pool and take turns either opening a gift, or stealing one from someone who has already opened one. Each gift can only be stolen one time and once every gift has been opened, you’re stuck with what you have. This is a great time to re-gift something that you have laying around the house and want to get rid of, stick someone with a gag gift, or if you want to be really nice you can go the Michael Scott route and buy a really nice gift that everyone will want.
Holiday Book and Toy Drive- Sunday, December 11th to Sunday, December 18th We will be collecting brand new toys for Toys for Tots, and new or gently used books (for toddlers through 6th grade level) for Bernie’s Book Bank. The books and toys donated will be distributed to children in need throughout the Chicagoland area through these two wonderful organizations. We will have two labeled boxes set up at the Atlantic during the week. Folks can donate during the following matches and events… – Manchester United (Dec. 11th) – Hull City (Dec. 14th) – Chicago Spurs Holiday Party (Dec. 16th) – Burnley (Dec. 18th)
After party- If you can still stand after all of that, stick around for karaoke at the Atlantic!
