Toys delivered to UIC Children’s Hospital.

The 2nd Annual Chicago Spurs Holiday Toy Drive was a complete success! The drive, which ran from Thursday December 11th through Saturday December 20th collected over 100 toys for children who are supported by the University of Illinois Chicago’s (UIC) Children’s Hospital. The total value of the toys collected was in excess of $1,000.00 in toys for children and teens of a variety of ages!

On December 22nd the board of Tottenham Hotspur Chicago delivered to Beena Peters, Jeanette Hartmann and the rest of the team at UIC’s Children’s hospital. Their team will separate the toys that were donated into gift bags to present to the children supported for the Christmas Holiday! Many of the children supported at UIC face some very serious illnesses and the gift provided by the Chicago Spurs helps to brighten their time in the hospital.

The board of Tottenham Hotspur Chicago would like to thank: all Chicago Spurs members, Spurs fans who participated in the drive, the Atlantic Bar for co-hosting the event, unaffiliated toy donors, and the team at UIC for the terrific experience.
